Task

As part of the category management implementation we trained the people working with procurement (initiators, operational buyers and procurement department personnel).

What was done

  • we adjusted the basic training for the company’s needs and for each group – procurement personnel, initiators, managers
  • 6 trainings were conducted, each lasted for 2 days
  • more than 100 people were trained
  • we reviewed the general concepts of the category management
  • we analyzed the stages of strategy formation and the supplier selection procedure based on the examples of the categories chosen by the training participants
  • the training participants got acquainted with analysis tools, such as: PESTLE, Porter five forces analysis, the Kraljic Matrix, etc.)

Task

To conduct the training for the procurement department in the media procurement category. Consider all the risks and opportunities of media buying.

What was done

  • we analyzed the client’s needs and the actual level of the category understanding
  • we adjusted the program for the client’s needs with emphasis on the comprehensive study of the relevant media channels
  • we conducted basic training on media procurement through selected media channels
  • we worked on the supplier selection skills
  • we reviewed the ways of dealing with confrontation with the internal customer
  • we analyzed the trends in the media market in 2019 and gave recommendations for 2020
  • we reviewed the principles of procurement on TV and the channels important for the client
